I heard a rumor, don't take much for it though..... If the devils trade Parise they will trade for Hemsky at a low cost to fill the void for a playoff run

The only way he will know Parise will walk 100% is if they can't offer the money. The Devils can't off money unless they gain new investors and/or have a solid playoff run. They're in a very tough situation.

the devils lost the games not brodeur, even if we had brodeur in his prime we wouldnt have won, scoring 1 goal in both games wont win you much at all

they should trade him for penner, or komisarek. i think those players just need a change of scenery

I find the fact that they have added salary 3 times this season (carter, foster and poni) to be very interesting....i mean they werent huge moves but this is not the sign of a team who is financially crippled or close to it in the near future

According to NJ fans on Barry's blog, there are no current financial issues. Also, the general opinion around here from NJ fans are that Parise is going nowhere and will be resigned at a very reasonable price. Everything is fine in Devils land. Nothing to see here.
